Scooby
My name is Scooby.  I’m being fostered in Sarasota Florida by Responsible Dog & Cat.  I’m doing really good and having lots of fun and most of all I’m learning foundation skills, that’s stuff like sit, down, stay and kennel up along with learning to potty on cue.  It’s not that important to me, but they say it will really help my new family.  We have agility equipment to play on including a seesaw, tunnel and jumps so I’m getting some great exercise and learning how to take cues from human leaders.  Don’t you think I’m just the cutest?  My face is just something to die for.  I’m young (about 2 years) and in great shape.  I’ve been neutered, received all my vaccinations and I’m free of parasites like fleas and heartworms.  Everyone who sees me just thinks I’m the cutest so maybe that’s why I’m so confident.

Dolce’ Gabbana
My name is Dolce’ Gabbana.  Dolce’ means sweet in Spanish, that’s why they named me that.  They think I’m sweet but I have a lot of energy so I’m learning how to control that, it’s called impulse control.  I’m learning how to relax along with foundation skills, like sit, down, stay, focus and why it’s so important to come when I’m called!  You humans really expect a lot from us dogs.  But, they think I’m doing great.  You can ask Joyce if you’re interested in more training details and how I’m progressing. 

I’m potty trained, we go out on lead so we learn how to go on cue!  That is so if it’s raining I won’t dabble and humans can be really busy and don’t always have time for long walks.  But we are learning that rewards follow good behavior and going potty quickly earns me playtime! 

I’m kennel trained and eat on schedule.  We dogs do great when we can rely on our owner companions to be there for us and provide us with clear rules, schedules and rewarding opportunities.  I’m really looking forward to meeting anyone who is willing to be my new human leader and companion.  I’m still really young (about 1 year) and still need a lot of guidance and training, but if you’re up to it I’m showing real potential to become a great little agility, flyball, or rally competitor or maybe just a great companion for an active person or family.  Check me out, I am just too cute.

Hi my name isMaximillion, but everyone calls me Max. The vets have estimated I’m about 7 years old. I’m in good health with many more years to offer my new owner. I had to be rescued because my owner passed away. Thank goodness there’s nice people who help dogs like myself! I’m currently living in a foster home in Sarasota. My foster person has cats and lots of dogs coming and going because she boards dogs too. So I’m getting a lot of conspecific socialization, that’s technical terminology for dog-dog activity! Look how relaxed and happy I am, but I really need a permanent home so that I can really be myself. I love to cuddle, but am a little afraid at first, but once I feel comfortable (safe) you will see my body language change to a happy go lucky dog! Hi, my name is Misty and I am a broken coat Jack Russell Terrier. My mom died and now I need a home. I am about 8 but I have plenty of life left. I just need someone to share it with me. I like to cuddle on your lap and nap the day away. I do like a stroll around the block every now and then and a good sunset or I can just go out and potty in your fenced yard too. (I don?t potty in the house and I hold it all night long) I don?t chew your shoes like a puppy and I make a good little watch dog. My bark sounds way bigger than I am. Do you have space on your couch and in your heart for me? I only weigh about 15 pounds, I am spayed, healthy and I don?t need any shots. I have a foster mom in Sarasota right now but I am looking for my life long home. I would be perfect for an older person looking for a companion!

Hi, I am Mandy. Misty is my sister and we lost our mom. I need a home too. I am younger than Misty, maybe six. I am shy. It takes me time to warm up, but once I do you can?t get me out of your lap. I LOVE MY BELLY RUBBED. I have more energy than my sister and need more walks. I love to run in the backyard (really needs to be fenced), but I am not an off leash dog. I smell everything and then I want to GO! GO! GO! I could be a watch dog too. I am also healthy, spayed and I don?t need shots either.
